Top 10 Longest Ski Runs in Slovakia

1. Tatranská Lomnica, High Tatras Mountains: Lomnické sedlo - Tatranská Lomnica

Length: 5500 m

2. Jasná, Low Tatras: Chopok - Lúčky

The second longest ski run in Slovakia starts from Chopok peak through Konský Grúň, Pekná vyhliadka and Rovná hoľa to Lúčky. The ski slopes start at an altitude of 2003 meters and end up 943 meters above sea level. It is technically snowy throughout.

To get to the summit, take the three lifts: a quick 6-seater Lúčky - Vyhliadka, a fast 6-seater Záhradky - Priehyba and a funicular Priehyba - Chopok. The ski run is accessible from the south as well.

3. Ružomberok - Malino Brdo, Velka Fatra Mountains: Malino Brdo - Hrabovo

The ski run begins at the top station of the H130 ski lift and continues to the upper station of the cable car. This stretch is medium and technically snowy. From the upper to the lower station of the cable car leads a narrower, south-facing and undemanding ski slope. It is desirable for natural snow and therefore it is usually only open exceptionally.

6. Štrbské Pleso, Tatra Mountains: Solisko - Štrbské pleso

The ski run from Solisko via Esíčko to the village of Štrbské Pleso. It is technically snowy throughout.
